2015-2016 ALSRT Board of Directors
|Greetings to all my fellow ALSRT members! I am very excited to serve as your President this year and am grateful for this opportunity to represent and serve you. I am looking forward to a great year. We had a wonderful annual meeting this year with the Georgia Society and it was so encouraging to see so many students attend! It was a perfect opportunity to get them involved and show that membership in the society is about so much more than just CEUs. Lakepoint State Park in Eufaula was a beautiful (even with the rain) setting for us to get together and learn about new developments in our field, catch up with old friends and make lots of new ones. Our 2016 annual meeting will be held in Huntsville and our Fall Conference this year will be in Mobile. I encourage you to attend these meetings and encourage co-workers who might not be members to come as well. Not only are they a good way to learn about what's new in Radiologic Technology but they are also a great way to get to know your fellow RTs. I am eager to see what this year will bring about for us as RTs and I am interested to know what you as technologists are looking for from your ALSRT. Please feel free to contact me or any of the Board members with suggestions, comments or concerns. I look forward to working with you this year! Beth|
