Nominations may be made by any active or associate member of the ALSRT.  

1.      The candidate must currently be a practicing technologist with a minimum of five years of experience in the radiologic sciences.

2.      The candidate must be a current member of the ALSRT in good standing and hold current certification with the ARRT in good standing.

3.      The candidate must have exhibited outstanding service and leadership as an officer, board member, or committee chair/member of the ALSRT  or local affiliate of the ALSRT.

4.      The candidate must have contributed to the growth of the ALSRT and the profession of radiologic technology through personal involvement in such areas as:

a. Presenting lectures, scientific papers/exhibits or submitting articles for publication.

b. Supporting and maintaining active membership in local, state and national radiologic organizations.

5.      Attach the following nomination information:

a. Name, address, and telephone number of the candidate

b. Current job, educational level and place of employment

c. ARRT registry number

d. List of outstanding contributions and accomplishments made to the medical imaging community and offices held

e. A brief statement from the nominator.

6.      Nominations should be forwarded to the Administrative Assistant of the ALSRT not later than 90 days prior to the next scheduled Annual Meeting of the ALSRT.

7.     The Board of Directors will vote on the candidate at the third quarter Board meeting.   Upon unanimous selection by the Board, the candidate will be recognized at the Annual Meeting during the Presidential Banquet and Reception.
